Oh yeahhhh - we’re back in action this Saturday down in briz for a primarily drums courtyard rinseout, teaming up with our good friends SLIPPIN’

Been a mental couple weeks yurting around the country with the system, with the most memorable Murky session to date from 12-7am on the Friday of AnExperience Presents ... (pictured above) in The Living Room. That will never be forgotten

The Murky Soundsystem will be back in a full single stack, providing them good vibrations to the Lost Horizon courtyard with the sun beating down (hopefully, it’s looking promising)

Something a little bit different this month on the Murky Sonics Show, we’ve got some tech house (yep you heard that right)…

The legend that is explores the deeper side of UK tech house from the late nineties and early noughties, when the sound was raw, punchy and experimental. You’ll hear Detroit influences, early UK tech house, along with some more tribal flavours. Suspense and release, at its finest 🕺🔊

Over the past decade, the Croydon FM resident has carved a name for himself in London’s underground grime scene and his Murky set made it clear why. But it wasn’t just the grime heaters on show that night with R-YZ chopping between breaks, garage, jungle and a sprinkling of DnB. A serious selection to get our favourite North London basement sweating.

Next up on Subtle we’ve got Murky veteran and drums don dada Crack Sparrow. It’s an hour packed with real nice percussive darkside, along with some rudeboy steppas and smooth jungle too - a quality balance of timeless classics and niche cuts. Expect tunes from Moving Shadow, Prototype, CIA, Bassbin etc 🎧🕺  Also, if you haven’t already, don’t forget to cop a tic for our upcoming dance in Dalston on 21st March! Get ready for 28kW of oomph from the Murky Soundsystem in a 150 cap basement 🔊🔊

As temperatures rise and those brisk winter nights give way to bliss summer days, it’s time to thaw out and turn up the heat in the Cu basement. The spring equinox brings balance - light and dark as equals - and, as always, that will be reflected in our vibrations: groove, warmth and melody underpinned by grit and bassweight.

Last week the team were down at with our dear friend , for a good old chinwag and to play a couple tunes. We covered a brief history of Murky, along with our influences from the past and what we’re digging right now  Expect dubstep, breakbeat, techno, chatting s**t, hard drum, bassline, jungle techno, darkside and a load of stuff which I have no idea what it’s called. For the first episode of 2026 we have a new name for your brain - it’s Synapse (). After taking to the decks only last year, she’s already developed a consistent and interesting sound grounded in new school electro and UK techno

Expect hard kicks and warping mids with both futuristic sounds and sexy ghetto samples
