Once a month, we open the room to Perth’s jazz community so it becomes a place for musicians to meet, play, listen, and see where the night goes.

Whether you’re bringing an instrument or simply coming in for a drink and a seat, we’d be glad to have you in.

This Friday, Jayden Jooste Quintet brings bebop and modal jazz to Ambassador Bar with a fresh, modern edge.

Led by double bassist Jayden Jooste, the quintet moves from slow, expressive ballads to fast-paced arrangements, drawing inspiration from the likes of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and Thelonious Monk.

Settle in, grab a cocktail, and spend the evening with some of Perth’s emerging jazz talent.
