Hey! We’re hiring! Looking for a part time bartender to join our team. Applicants must have the following:

• Experience - at least 1 year behind the bar
• A passion for drinks
• A love of hospitality and service
• Ability to work well with a small, close knit bar team
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and work on your feet for the duration of your shift.
• Be over the age of 21

Prizefighter Bar and Bottle Shop have decided to remain open on Friday, January 30th. While we stand in staunch solidarity with the general strike, and against ICE and all affiliated groups, we think that providing a space for people to gather is critical in moments like these. We are a family owned business and frankly are not in a position to close up shop on a Friday night, nor are most of our employees able to miss a day of wages.

We are going to donate Friday’s profits to RAICES Texas, a non-profit organization whose stated goals are ”To defend the rights of immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers; empower individuals, families, and communities; and advocate for liberty and justice.” We are also running a drink special for the next week where we will donate $3 per cocktail sold to RAICES.

We encourage any guests who join us on the 30th to pay in cash when possible so that credit card companies feel the effects of the strike too.

Lastly, F**K ICE. AND F**K DONALD TRUMP AND ANYONE WHO SUPPORTS ANY OF THIS BU****IT.
