Casa Kantuta

Casa Kantuta Casa Kantuta is a cocktail bar inspired by Bolivian culture!

It is the brainchild of two hermanos who immigrated from Bolivia to the DC area in the ‘90s and want to share their rich culture and ancestral traditions with the DC scene.

Throwback Thursday to the incredible time we had at our Seis de Agosto party! 🇧🇴❤️💛💚

A HUGE thank you to all the dance fraternities and Bolivian dance groups who joined us and helped make this celebration so special. Without you, our event simply wouldn’t be the same! 🫶🏽

And of course, thank you to DJ PAMPA for keeping us dancing all night and to the best hora loca Lucas Guillen for bringing an unforgettable performance that kept the celebration of our cultura going, from the Oso Ukumari and El Diablo to an Optimus Prime dancing Tinku 😂🇧🇴🔥 We’re still not over it!

Big love to the entire metrobar team for hosting us once again and helping make this night such a success. ❤️

Our next big party is early NEXT YEAR… and we hope you’re ready because Carnavales is coming! 👀🎭🇧🇴

It’s been two weeks since we wrapped Bolivian Cultural Weekend 2026… and honestly, it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long. ❤️🇧🇴

This video captures a little piece of the journey. how it all started, how we came together, how we each brought our own talents to the table, and how much having the right people by your side truly matters.

Bolivian Fest DC was born three years ago, and Casa Kantuta has now been part of this journey for five. But if there’s one thing I’ve taken away from it all, it’s the incredible people I’ve met along the way through our shared love for Bolivia.

I hope when you watch this video, you feel the love behind it. We did this with so much heart, with the hope of creating a space to celebrate Bolivian talent, culture, creativity, and our love for our motherland. 🇧🇴

Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported us, danced with us, celebrated with us, and made BCW 2026 so special.

And a very special shoutout to our official videographer, Erick Buendia, for putting in the hours and capturing the moments, the energy, and the heart behind it all. 🎥❤️

This is just the beginning until next time 🇧🇴✨
