if you’re a Sweet Boy’s regular, you’ve probably noticed a shift over the last few months. some changes were large, some more subtle.

since early summer, sweet boy’s has been transitioning into new ownership. longtime sweet boy’s manager, longer-time sweet boy, and service industry staple Micah Pope takes the helm as co-owner and operations manager. alongside him, Ryan Smith, artist, photographer, and the one behind some of the instagram accounts you’ve probably been following for years, joins as co-owner and creative director.

together, we’ve spent the past few months refining what was needed, trimming what wasn’t, and keeping everything that made Sweet Boy’s your favorite neighborhood bar.

whether you’re a longtime patron or a new one, come raise a little hell with us. 👹
