Introducing Whiskey Wednesdays at Maverick

Whiskey is more interesting when you know what’s in your glass.

Join us for Whiskey Wednesdays, a new monthly series exploring the history, craft, flavors, traditions, and stories behind whiskey. Each session will take a different look at the world of whiskey through guided discussion, tasting, and hands-on experiences.

Our first Whiskey Wednesday is August 5: From History to the Perfect Old Fashioned.

We’ll explore the history and significance of Bottled-in-Bond, taste and talk bourbon, and then head behind the bar to learn the ingredients, techniques, and details that go into making a great Old Fashioned.

Whether you’re a longtime whiskey drinker or just beginning to explore, come curious — no expertise required.
