Here is a little more information about 7 Slot entertainment’s service and standard pricing packages.
I typically offer wedding, event, or party packages starting at $800. That standard package is usually for a four-hour event with one sound system. I say a four hour event but if your event runs long or, as I have had happen in the past, your guest are having a good time still and you want to extend the event I don’t charge extra for that. I only say typically a four-hour event because that’s the usual length before people are ready to go. Most Dj’s will charge extra for that.
That basic setup also includes dance lights, if you want them. These are adequate for a dance floor up to at least 50’x50’ so they have plenty of coverage and movement for most venue’s dance floors. Along with the dance lights I also offer unlimited consultation prior to your event to make absolutely sure that everything that you want to have happen at your wedding happens when and how you want it to. All of this is done with professional grade equipment and with back ups on site.
In addition to the standard event setup I also have additional options available if you need them. For example in the event the wedding and reception are in the same place I can offer a second complete sound system for only $300 more. This would be to play processional music, recessional music, or to hear the officiant. This second system also includes a wireless microphone for the officiant.
If you need more lighting I also have a 10’ foot lighting truss that would be loaded with several moving lights to give the ultimate in lighting entertainment and energy to your event. This complete lighting setup does increase the cost, since it takes quite a bit to set up the complete lighting package adds an additional $500 to the cost. That would look similar but not exactly like this.
I also have some other items that are available to you if you want to incorporate them into your plans and there cost is minimal. Here is a short list of other event items that may be useful.
200 feet of white rope lighting
150 feet of hanging string lighting
A bubble machine
Up lights, I have 8 of these and if your event required more I can rent some from a local Dj supply shop and would only charge you my cost on those rentals.
Now, in the interest of full disclosure let me say that if what you may be looking for is a club style Dj with electronic dance music or live remixing of music, I am not the right Dj for your event. If what you want is an experienced Wedding, corporate event or party dj that will keep you event classy and audience appropriate, I am the right Dj for you.
