Kill City A new party bridging the looks, talent, and dadaistic mind-f**kery of New York City nightlife with the very best house, disco, and techno DJs.

From the beautifully absurd minds of One-half Nelson, Erickatoure Aviance, and DJ Jess Marquis comes Kill City! All under the banner of the legendary nightclub, Webster Hall. After killing off the infamous TRASH! party (NYC’s longest running weekly indie dance party at 12 years), Jess Marquis returns with a new mandate: that the sounds in the disco be as forward as the fashion on the dance floor.

To that end, designers, performance artists, and visionaries one-half Nelson and Erickatoure Aviance bring you the striking, the breathtaking, and the extraordinary from the cult of the New York City underground. A rotating roster of outlandish hosts, burlesque bombshells, and visceral visual artists, coupled to a soundtrack that's newer than new and nower than now.

Tonight we will not be hosting the weekly Kill City party in The Studio at Webster Hall. We realize this is a difficult time for everyone and we understand that everyone grieves in their own way.
We want to open our doors and our arms to provide a safe and loving space for Jess’s friends. While this is not an official memorial (one will be held at a later date), we encourage and invite anyone who has been touched by the life and music of Jess Marquis to attend. There will be no DJ’s or cover charge as this is a way for all of us to come together and begin the healing process. Say Jess Marquis at the door.
