In February martin was diagnosed with a rare auto immune disease, PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis).
PSC is an incurable liver disease, doctors have advised Martin that to help slow the progress, and delay or even prevent the need for a liver transplant, he should follow a healthy diet, rest as much as he can and most importantly, retire from working, or at the very least work less hours. Unfortunately until he can claim his state pension he’s not able to manage this financially.
