⏳✨ It's a new era for this little bar! This past winter, I visualized the change, and this past weekend, it all came together. It's amazing when dreams come to fruition.
💡Every year, spring comes, and I want to tweak and improve the space. I opened on a shoe string budget in 2023, so it has been a matter of patience and strategy to develop the space over the years.
🌿From furniture, to fixtures, shadow boxes to a garden on the patio, every improvement seems to make a huge difference. The bar feels more and more like the environment I envisioned when I started this journey in 2022.
🥃 Now our bottles, the essential ingredients in our libations, have a beautiful space to rest.
🔨 As with all my renovations, I work to preserve the character and history of this old bar, but this addition felt a little different. I don't know what the back bar looked like over the years. I only have images from Mephisto's.... but once this version was complete, it strangely felt like it had always been here. Maybe it's the black lacquer, or maybe it's the bar itself embracing the change.

✅ We are open Thursday - Saturday through May.
✴️ We are closed Wednesdays and Sundays 'til June.
✨We are working on new spells and more improvements throughout this month.
🚗 There is construction on Florian through May. They are building the extension of the Joe Louis Greenway down the alley way next to our building. It seems improvements are happening everywhere this month. 😊 Still plenty of parking and access to our front door.
