Before we made the spirits, we made a decision. For us, it was a simple one—take no shortcuts. That meant using honest ingredients grown across the region. It meant crafting every batch from start to finish. And it meant taking a road that many seem to avoid. From that point forward, we’ve been on journey to develop spirits worthy of people’s admiration. We don’t source spirits, we source ingredients—the way it was meant to be done. An approach like ours has been a long time coming.

John Ball Zoo and Long Road Distillers have teamed up to create Otter Watter, a limited-edition watermelon lime & mint vodka soda that's otterly refreshing and supports local conservation efforts. 🍉

Created to celebrate the opening of John Ball Zoo's new North American River Otter habitat, a portion of sales profits helps protect Grand River species and their habitats.

Otter Watter is available now at Long Road Distillers' tasting room locations, John Ball Zoo, and select retailers and restaurants across Michigan. ✋

Bold, bright, and unmistakably Michigan - we’re pleased to bring you Batch 2 of Long Road AsparaGin!

Made with fresh, West Michigan asparagus, without taking any shortcuts. This gin is a tribute to the farmers, the fields and the hard work that define our state.

Notable ingredients include:
• Juniper hand-harvested on Beaver Island
• Asparagus grown on a family farm in Mears, Michigan
• A medley of other herbs and botanicals like dill, tarragon, capers, chive, black pepper and lemon peel

Friend of Dorothy is back!

This fan favorite is made with our Original Vodka, watermelon, mint, and lime. It’s the perfect sip for sunny days.

The name “Friend of Dorothy” is a special nod to a coded phrase historically used within the LGBTQ+ community for discreet identification during less accepting times. While its exact origin is debated, it’s widely believed to reference Judy Garland’s iconic portrayal of Dorothy in “The Wizard of Oz” and her enduring status as a gay icon.

At Long Road, we believe Pride should be more than a moment; it should be part of our mission. The Friend of Dorothy is more than a cocktail, it’s a toast to visibility, authenticity, and solidarity. Weekend assignment 📝 Make this at home

The Singapore Sling ft. Long Road MICHIGIN+

1oz Long Road MICHIGIN
1/4oz Long Road Cherry Liqueur
1/4oz Long Road Orange Liqueur
1oz Pineapple Juice
1/2oz Fresh Lime Juice
1 dash Aromatic Bitters

Shake ingredients with ice. Strain into a collins glass. Top with ice and soda water. Garnish with a cocktail cherry and fresh mint sprig. Cheers!
