Chicago house royalty meets 30 years of dance music history.

On Saturday March 14, Colette brings her signature blend of soulful vocals and deep Chicago thump to DISFUNKTIONAL at Crobar.

From her roots in the Chicago underground to being voted one of LA’s best DJs by the LA Times, Colette has become a true triple-threat: DJ, producer, and vocalist. Her OM Records classics like “Feelin’ Hypnotized,” “What Will She Do For Love,” and “When I’m With You” helped define an era—while albums like Hypnotized and When The Music’s Loud (named a Top 20 album of the year by Billboard) cemented her global impact. With new releases on Candy Talk, SubLevel & No Fuss and her upcoming studio album Flashback, she continues to evolve while staying true to the sound that raised her.

This night also celebrates 30 years of OM Records, the iconic San Francisco label that shaped the West Coast house movement and became Colette’s creative home in 2005. Three decades deep, OM remains a pillar of authenticity, community, and timeless grooves.

A prodigy who began DJing at 13 and forged his sound alongside DJ Spen and the Basement Boys, Karizma later launched his solo career and founded Kohesive Records. His discography includes releases on respected labels such as Defected, R2 Records, and Strictly Rhythm, and he’s known for genre-blending productions and amazing dancefloor sets.

Sharing the night is Disfunktional residents Andre Leone, MIKEONE, and Le Mew. This one’s for everyone who’s supported the True House Music movement over the past four years, we’re truly grateful for your energy and support. See you on the dancefloor.

Coming in hot, we welcome non other than the Detroit brother, Waajeed.

Waajeed is a renowned Detroit DJ and producer celebrated for his influential work in house music. Rooted in Detroit’s rich electronic and dance music heritage, Waajeed blends deep house grooves with soulful and futuristic sounds, helping to push the genre forward.

As a key figure in Detroit’s house scene, Waajeed has released numerous tracks and remixes that showcase his signature style, combining rhythmic complexity, warm textures, and a strong sense of groove. His DJ sets are known for their energy and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Beyond his own productions, Waajeed supports emerging talent and the local music community through his label and collaborations, continuing Detroit’s legacy as a global hub for innovative house music.
