Meet Fabiola Juarez — one of our partners and an absolute force in New York’s hospitality world.

If you don’t know Fabiola, you’ve definitely felt her work.
Maybe you met her at Altar, the neighborhood cocktail bar where she served as Beverage Director and Bar Manager.
Maybe you’ve crossed paths at the Michelin-level Crown Shy, where she was part of a bar team nominated for Best Restaurant Bar Team in the US.
Or perhaps you’ve seen her behind the bar at the timeless Dear Irving on Broadway.
Or you might’ve witnessed her electric energy at Speed Rack, where she became a Season 12 Northeast Champion.

Wherever you found her, one thing’s for sure: Fabiola leaves an impression everywhere she goes.

She’s the brains behind our entire menu — both food and drinks; What many people don’t know is that before she became a powerhouse behind the bar, Fabiola fell in love with the industry in the kitchen. She cooked at places like Atla, and she’s bringing that same creativity and heart into everything we serve here.

We’re grateful to have her leading the path at Frijoleros —
and paving the way for other women in this industry every single day.

Meet Liz Arias, one of the partners, Frijoleros official hand model and the queen of front of house. Have a chat with her and she’ll make you laugh.

Liz has more than 10 years in the hospitality business. She formally worked in bayridge’s neighborhood’s gem, Cebu.
Her family originates from Zacatecas, Mexico. Raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.

She was also one of the designers for the space. Yep, she’s amazing. We love her and couldn’t have done it without her.
