Bar Beyond Borders first event on the books, invites you to taste and explore bars and bartenders through the lens of their multifaceted stories and beverage design.

Bar Beyond Borders-the incredible organizer Sam-has teamed up with The Hidden Pearl a Japanese Tropical Speakeasy that’s been open for 8 years who’s kitchen has transitioned with their new Chef into a Cambodian-Japanese Izakaya in the front restaurant and bar bites.

For beverage design we’ve teamed up with the accomplished Rohit who’s creative and cultural style with steer us into India with Japanese and Cambodian influence and talented Victoria who’s Puertorican upbringing will flow into Japan and Cambodia as well.

The spirit we will be highlighting is The GlenDronach 12yr Sherry Cask.

The GlenDronach begins in the Scottish Highlands, where its spirit is crafted with a tradition dating to 1826.
But its signature character isn’t created in Scotland alone.

The whisky’s defining richness comes from maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Andalucía, Spain. A border being crossed aligning with Bar Beyond Borders.

What happens when different cultures, techniques and ingredients meet Glendronach whose identity was itself shaped by two traditions?

Sakura Club embraces the pink classic Clover Club with a yuzu, cherry blossom, cardamom and beet remix
