Skaalvenn Distillery Our goal is to make the finest spirits in Minnesota--at a price everyone can afford. Skål Venn! / 10-19-2020 - Our Japanese inspired cocktail bar is now open.

Please try to make a reservation before stopping in--we naturally have extremely limited seating, and we would hate to turn you away due to being at capacity. Our spirits are distributed to over 400 locations across Minnesota. If your local store does not carry the product you want, please ask them--they'll typically gladly start carrying it for you.

We've got another banger that just hit the menu--"The Outcast of Brooklyn Park"

It's a Tiki cocktail that's available all weekend long! Made with Skaalvenn Aquavit, pilancio, ginger syrup, almond orgeat, herbsaint, cinnamon, ginger beer, and lime.

It's incredibly flavorful, like a daiquiri with a little absinthe (one of Tyson's favorite cocktails) only with SO MUCH more depth!

The Corvo Bianco CPT, it's been a VERY popular cocktail here at Skaalvenn Distillery, and it's about to go out like the vapors to make room for another banger of a cocktail.

It's a cocktail designed by a nerd Chase Heck , for nerds, but it's also won over plenty of people who've never watched/read/played what inspired it, The Witcher.

We're in the last weekend of it on the menu! Get it before it's gone!

It's basically an entire menu takeover all this weekend, including on Tiki Thursday (we're only having a weekly Tiki special today, but might be able to make up some specialties depending on how slammed we'll be.)

This concept has been bouncing around in our heads for over a year, and the proof is in the pudding...errr...cocktails, and they're delicious! Don't let the names of them fool you; they are cocktails at heart and we haven't gone down the rabbit hole of doing weird things and using weird ingredients just for the sake of being weird

Event! Minnesota State Fair Food Themed Cocktails! All next weekend July 30, 31 and August 1st at Skaalvenn Distillery you can enjoy cocktails the crew has cooked up based off our favorite foods from the Minnesota State Fair.

We're showing you three today:

"Pretzel with the Fixin's" - pretzel infused Skaalvenn bourbon, butter, salt, mustard seed, white cheddar cheese foam, pretzel bite

"Bilberry Burr" - Skaalvenn vodka, carbonated bilberry juice, citra hops *sessionable, low ABV

"Kitty Candy" - cotton candy flavored Skaalvenn vodka, dragon fruit, huckleberry, hello kitty shaped ice flavored with huckleberry.

Other cocktail ingredients include: roasted turkey leg (were not pulling your leg!), miniature donut old fashioned, Sweet Martha's chocolate chip cookie malt, funnel cake, sweet corn, deep fried olive dirty martini

SNACKS!

Corn dog bites (5 pcs) with ketchup and mustard on side
Tanghulu - Japanese style candied strawberry, white grape and mandarin orange
We Are Nuts Caramel Corn
Fried Olives - panko batter friend pimento olives
Deep fried corn ribs - dry rub seasoned corn ribs

Sun's out, Rum's Out! 🌞😎 What a great time of year for the classic daiquiri, & just as easy to make for yourself as it is to make for a few friends (the best way to enjoy it!). If you didn't know, a daiqui is just a margarita, just made with rum, and here's how to make it.

2oz Skaalvenn Rum (support local!)
1oz lime juice
3/4oz simple syrup

Shake with ice, and you can strain into a chilled glass, strain over fresh ice, or just dump the entire shaker with ice into a glass. The beauty of the daiquiri is that it doesn't matter you make it. Make it how YOU like it. Sweeten it up, make it less sweet, salt the rim, add a dash of bitters, Tyson used to love his with a spoon full of absinthe--give it a try!
