Some nights don’t need loud moments to become unforgettable. ✨🎷

Last night at UG Lounge, we had the honor of welcoming veteran jazz vocalist Lorna Cifra for an intimate evening of timeless music, soulful storytelling, and the kind of performance that reminds you why live jazz will always have a place in the city.

Lorna is only visiting for a few weeks, so having her share her voice and artistry with us felt truly special. Together with the incredibly talented musicians who brought the night to life — Yong Aquino on keyboards, Dave Harder on bass, and Rey Vinoya on drums — the evening became a beautiful celebration of timeless jazz and genuine musicianship.

From the first song to the final applause, the room was filled with warmth, nostalgia, and quiet appreciation for live music done right.

To everyone who joined us and stayed present with every note — thank you for making the night memorable.

This is exactly the kind of experience we hope to continue creating at UG: thoughtfully curated nights, world-class talents, and music that lingers long after the last set.

And yes… we’re already looking forward to having Ms. Lorna Cifra back again soon. 🤍
