Sin is through to the European finals of the iichiko Shochu Global cocktail comp with a drink that brings together his Hong Kong heritage, and Japanese flavours.

• iichiko Shochu infused with lotus leaf
• Lemon Juice
• Soy sauce
• Amazake
• Finished with Senbei & Chilli

In the grand finale of our 8th birthday celebration, who better to host - bringing their sun, sand and bubble guns to SiC Studio.

On the 15th October - we’re hosting our good friends Kiki Lounge , for our usual format of industry seminar, followed by an evening guest shift.

Let’s get tropical!

Kiki Lounge is a bar from the 85,000 strong Isle of Man - Jamie & Drew know everyone by name on that island, which is some feat! Alongside that, their bar is globally renowned, bringing tropical drinks and the world’s eyes on to a not-so tropical island.

Man, their list of achievements is impressive! From Pinnacle guide, 50 best scholarships, spirits business bar of the year, a regular on the UK top 50, Code hospitality happiest places to work, Class bar awards sustainable bar of the year - amongst many individual awards.

The 3pm seminar is centred around: Cocktails & Big Dreams.

From pandemic pop up to renowned bar with a huge reputation on a modest budget.

As we continue our 8th birthday celebrations - we’ve invited our good friends at BAR KINKY | LONDON COCKTAIL DEN to come through and kick it with us.

Bar Kinky is one of the most unique bars in the UK - phenomenal bar, phenomenal people, phenomenal drinks and just an all round vibe.

We partied with them a little while back but have finally booked their return leg to come to SiC.

We’ll be joined by Rinato & Aliia (fresh off the back of her win at Suntory Dojo) - as usual with an industry seminar, titled ‘Six handshakes. Why takeovers and guest shifts are an important part of our industry’… Say that louder for the people at the back 👀 And by back I mean in the US 😮‍💨

Followed by a guest shift in the studio from 5pm - bookings and walk ins welcome, just book for the studio space when making the reservation…

In the build up to our 8th birthday, we’re kicking off with another special, international guest shift with Joel P**n of Reka:Bar in Kuala Lumpur.

Fun. Flavour. Future. Reka:Bar is your friendly post modern flavour lab…

The name Reka is derived from the words Reka: Creation in Malay, and Eureka: the Joy of discovery in Greek.

The award winning design of the bar evokes a ‘spaceship cantina’, with ultramodern and midcentury inspirations blending seamlessly into a space both inviting and thought-provoking.

Joel has experience jn Dubai, Singapore, and now Malaysia, heading up Reka:Bar.

As always, drop us a DM for the 2pm industry seminar, and book for the Studio space for the evening guest shift…

I can’t disclose the full prize but it rhymes with Ben Shmousand Hounds.

Drinks on him, if you can find him nowdays. Probably at an influencer event…
