Four friends. Four huge smiles. And one of those moments that perfectly captures what a great night out is really about. 🥂✨

It’s the laughter that makes your face hurt, the stories you’ve probably told a hundred times but still laugh at, the hugs, the dancing and being surrounded by people who just make you happy. ❤️

Life gets busy. We all get pulled in different directions and sometimes far too much time passes between nights like this.

But then you get everyone together again… and within minutes it feels like no time has passed at all. 🥰

No posing. No pretending. Just friends, laughter, smiles and genuine good times.

And sometimes a photo captures a feeling so perfectly that years later, you can almost hear the music and the laughter just by looking at it. 🪩✨

More nights like this. More laughter. More memories. More time with the people who matter. ❤️🥂

📻🎶 FROM THE ROOFTOPS TO THE DANCEFLOOR…THIS WAS OUR MUSIC! 🎶📻

What a photo, and what a piece of South London clubbing history.

It’s 1995 and there’s Martin Cee, Scottie Anderson and Dean Alexander, up on a rooftop on a cold and windy Wednesday night, putting up the aerial for pirate radio station Juice 94FM… before heading off to DJ at the Bon Bonne!

Back then, stations like Juice FM were so much more than something you listened to on the radio. They were part of the lifeblood of London’s club scene.

Before Juice there was Sunrise, Centreforce, JFM, LWR, Horizon and many others, stations that helped shape what a whole generation discovered, bought, played and ultimately danced to in the clubs. ❤️🎶

There were no carefully manufactured playlists. No algorithms deciding what you should hear. No big record companies pulling the strings.

Just DJs, promoters, record collectors and music lovers with one thing in common…

🔥 A genuine love of GOOD QUALITY MUSIC. 🔥

You’d hear a tune on pirate radio that stopped you in your tracks, spend the week trying to find out what it was, then walk into somewhere like the Bon Bonne at the weekend and hear it absolutely tearing up the dancefloor.

The radio and the clubs went hand in hand.

And sometimes, making all that happen meant climbing onto a freezing rooftop in the middle of the night to put an aerial up! 😂📡

Photos like this remind us that the music, the clubs and the friendships we remember so fondly didn’t just happen. There was a whole underground scene of passionate people making it happen.
