I really enjoyed Funny Little Frog, the Belle and Sebastian fanzine put together by Sebastian o'Casey George. A wonderful mix of personal pieces about being a B&S fan, cartoons, recipes, word searches and more. A proper old school zine, in other words. Copies available from Crash Course For The Ravers. Delighted to say that my novel The Tunnels is this month's Republic Of Consciousness Book Of The Month. It's a huge honour to be chosen for this and I can't wait for their subscribers to read the book. Copies are being sent out today.

I had a fantastic time DJ-ing at the Language Of Flowers, Coup Dur and Lovejoy gig at The Victoria last night. Three superb performances, and I especially enjoyed the covers ("Uncontrollable Urge" by Coup Dur) and ("When You Were Mine" by Language Of Flowers - Prince reimagined as dreampop/shoegaze). I had an impromptu book stall alongside my DJ set up - thanks to everyone who came up to take a look at the book. I met one chap who'd bought the book at the Winter Sprinter, read it and enjoyed it. Hurrah! Mission accomplished!
