What a fantastic first night at Signature Brew Haggerston for HDIF. We set the venue up slightly different to how we have it on NYE and I really liked the set up - more tables and chairs and more of a clearly defined dancefloor. And we set the giant glitterball to send giant golden globules spinning around the room, which looked wonderful. Tons of lovely people on the dancefloor and some first time attendees too, who said they had a great time. I feel like we made some new friends and started a new chapter in exactly the right way. Onwards and upwards!

For those wondering about travelling to and from the venue, I've put together a little guide about transport. Getting home is actually very straightforward - train from Haggerston to Highbury & Islington and then onto the night tube - but there are a few other options too.
