The Union Trading Company, located in the former French concession in Shanghai, China, is devoted to alluring hand crafted cocktails. Our beverages will span the golden age of bartending, when drinking was a social necessity, and current innovative concoctions using modern techniques and sensibilities. Our drinks will be accompanied by American small plates inspired by bar classics, all served in

Peruvian-born, Barcelona-shaped, and named Spain’s Bartender of the Year in 2023, Raiza has spent over a decade moving between some of the most exciting bars across South America and Europe.

From Verne Club and Victoria Brown in Buenos Aires to Libertine at Casa Bonay Barcelona and Michelin-affiliated Slow & Low, her career has taken her through some serious cocktail territory.

But Raiza isn't just behind the bar. She's the founder of Agite Club, a bar strategist, competition judge, educator, and the mind behind projects that have quickly found their way onto the international cocktail radar.

After 210+ guest shifts across 140+ cities, she's bringing something especially close to home this time:

What a way to close our 12th Anniversary.

A huge thank you to Jessey Qi & Lilly DeLorme for traveling all the way from Siargao, Philippines and bringing a little bit of island life to Union. It was exactly the kind of night we hoped for—warm, relaxed, full of laughter, great cocktails, and glasses raised high.

From ZEST Seoul to Last Chance Siargao, we've had the incredible privilege of welcoming some truly remarkable bartenders behind our bar these past two nights.

But when we look back at these photos, the guest shifts aren't what we remember most.

It's you.

The familiar faces who have been coming through our doors for years.
The friends who came back to celebrate another year with us.
And the new faces who became part of the story for the first time.

Because after 12 years, we've realized something:

Union has never really been about the bar.
It's about the people inside it.

Twelve years is a long time in this industry. We've had our highs, our lows, our crazy nights, our quiet ones, and more stories than we could ever fit into a post.

And somehow, you're still here with us.

For that, we are incredibly grateful.

For our 12th anniversary, we’re bringing one of Asia’s very best to Shanghai.

ZEST Seoul 𝗭 𝗘 𝗦 𝗧 — #2 in Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026.

Known for a distinctly Korean approach to cocktails, ZEST builds delicate, precise drinks around native ingredients, local botanicals and a thoughtful commitment to sustainability.
