🧡 Every Child Matters

Today we remember the children who never came home from residential schools, and hold Survivors, their families and communities in our hearts. We recognize the grief that continues- and the cultures, languages and relationships Indigenous peoples have fought to protect.

We’re donating 10% of proceeds from all food and drink sales today to USAY (Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth) to support their work with Indigenous youth in Calgary.

This donation is one small action. Our responsibility carries through the rest of the year.

Buy from Indigenous-owned businesses. Pay Indigenous artists for their work. Support Indigenous-led organizations. Learn whose land you live on and what the treaties mean. Listen when Indigenous communities ask for support- and follow through.

Support Land Back and Indigenous sovereignty: Indigenous peoples’ right to their lands, to protect them, and to make decisions for their own communities.

Wear orange today, but carry that care into what you do tomorrow🧡

A creamy cashew filling- sweetened only with Grade A dark maple syrup- loaded with walnut chunks, layered over a maple cream Oreo crust and finished with crunchy candied walnuts
