Pick and the Pockets are a high-energy quartet pulling from blues, country, jazz and bluegrass. Expect plenty of pickin’ and a very good time.


Sun 6 Sept – COOPER LANE
Sydney-born country artist Cooper Lane brings old-school ’90s country together with a laid-back tropical edge. Raised with strong ties to Yass and playing alongside his biggest musical influence — his dad — Cooper’s songs are rooted in country storytelling, rural life and a love of the road.

Our Palomino Lounge x Lager was made for music lovers, and we’ve got just the man to put it to the test tonight with Jay Squire hitting the stage.

Jay spent 2025 making a lot of noise in a lot of beautiful places, from a month-long residency in the red dust of Yulara to Sydney festival stages and new releases with his band Jay Squire & the Loveliners. Somewhere between rock, city-pop shimmer and desert calm, he's been busy turning stories into songs. Join him for more treasured tumultuousness this Thursday as he returns to The Pal.

We lost one of our heroes overnight. đŸ€

Dolly Parton was one of a kind. A songwriter, storyteller, country music icon and a woman who gave an awful lot back to the world along the way.

She also knew her way around a Dirty Martini. In Good Lookin’ Cookin’, the cookbook she wrote with her sister Rachel, you’ll find her very own take — the Dirt Road Martini.

So tonight, we’re having a little Dolly Hour in her honour.

From 7pm, we’ll be playing more Dolly than usual and stirring down Dirty Martinis at a special price.

A Crime of Passion before a night of songs from the heart. Sounds about right.

Our signature Crime of Passion is pouring tonight as AJ Stanton takes The Pal stage.

Singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist AJ Stanton moves between blues, jazz, folk and indie rock with songwriting that’s quirky, honest and a little unexpected. A poet at heart, she’s been described as “mature with a grain of madness” and has taken her songs everywhere from King Street Crawl and Lazybones to Red Rattler and Ferragosto Festival.
