Apollonia Bar Apollonia, an underground Sicilian bandits’ drinking den, celebrating Apollonia, heroine and tragedy of The Godfather.

The bar boasts an extensive spirits list, lots of negronis and other strong, delicious twists on Italian cocktails served by welcoming, friendly bartenders. Some mystery, some drama, some fun, lots of love and plenty of negronis. Every night is a tale of love, friends, warm welcomes, cold drinks & late night revelry.

Thursdays in September, a live caricature artist takes up residence in the bar, sketching portraits over negronis, 5:30-8:30pm.

From 4pm to 6pm, the bar settles into two easy hours of $14 cocktails, $9 wines, $9 Hinchcliff L***r, and $2.50 Sydney rock oysters, with $16 charcuterie for those who want to linger.

It is the quiet slip between day and night, where one drink becomes another, and the evening takes shape.
