I want to address something openly and honestly.

Over the last few days, I’ve seen comments and posts from people in Owosso who clearly do not understand what a family-friendly drag show actually is. There have been degrading comments made about myself and the other performers, with people falsely calling our performances “strip teases” and worse.
Many of you know this is not the first time I’ve faced hate, threats, or name-calling simply because I’m a drag performer and an educator who believes in creating safe, inclusive spaces for people to celebrate joy and community.

Because of the hostility surrounding this event, I have personally made the decision to move the Owosso Sideline Bar & Grill after party drag show from family-friendly to 18+. This decision was NOT made by the venue or by Owosso Pride. This was my call in order to protect performers, guests, and the overall atmosphere of the event.

Everyone who already purchased tickets will be contacted directly and offered a refund if needed.

But let me be clear about something:
We are NOT canceling.
We are NOT backing down.
And we will NOT let hate silence us.

Owosso Pride deserves support now more than ever. I’ve worked hard to create an incredible after party experience with amazing entertainment, energy, and community — and I hope you’ll come celebrate with us.

If you are 18+, please consider grabbing a ticket, supporting local Pride, and showing that love will always be louder than ignorance.

Let’s pack this place out. Let’s keep the conversation going. Let’s show up for each other.
