Today (Sept 5) is the ten year anniversary of our last event ever... the 2015 Fall Singles Fair & Ball. (Photo from that night below). Today I visited the Doubletree, and discovered that entire side of the facility is under construction. So... I wandered down to Rattler's and took some photos there. It was bittersweet. Peoria Pines Country Club. Enter, then head up the stairs to the dance, which overlooked the golf course. Fun memory: The time we were setting up and a bride came running in asking if anyone could marry them... because her minister had backed out. I went out to their lakeside alter, performed the ceremony, came back in, and finished setting up... all before y'all got there. Wonder how THAT couple is doing? 🤓
