Last Saturday the newsroom went funk. 🎹

Pop Ignition: Funk Edition brought Prince, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye and a little Amy Winehouse down the stairs — live funk and Motown classics played a little groovier than you remember. This is what live music in San Francisco sounds like when it’s underground. Pop Ignition

Local Edition is a subterranean jazz bar beneath Market Street in SF’s Financial District: 1950s newsroom, vintage typewriters, expertly crafted cocktails, and free live music every week. No cover. 21+.
