We are honored to welcome drum & bass pioneer (UK) into the Refuge chamber. A man who has truly pushed the sound of drum and bass forward into the future. Expect wall shakers and eyes-down vibes from this downright legend.

We also welcome back & Matt Caulder of . This Jacksonville duo set Refuge in motion as our first ever guests and set the standard. If you were in attendance, you know. If you missed them, now is your chance to experience two true Florida rave maestros.

Refuge Artist Feature: Wes Reed & Matt Caulder

Wes Reed and Matt Caulder are champions of the underground, with a foundation in jungle and drum & bass that stretches back to the genre's formative years.

As founders of the legendary Therapy Sessions in Jacksonville, FL, launched in 1998, they created an uncompromising space for progression, experimentation, and authenticity. The weekly event earned a reputation for quality over hype, bringing many premier international producers and DJs to Florida for the first time. Behind the decks, their sets seamlessly weave forward-thinking selections, deep cuts, and slept-on classics with absolute precision.

For Refuge, Wes and Matt will be digging deep into the crates, delivering an uncompromising session of underground jungle and drum & bass that stays true to the sound system tradition. Prepare for heavyweight basslines, stripped-down techstep, and halftime excursions, paying homage to the roots of bass music while pressing hard into the future.

Refuge Artist Feature: Christian Parchuke

More than just a parachute and ambience artisan, Christian Parchuke returns to open the floor after he completely stunned us with his debut Refuge set opening for Godfather Sage.

Electronic music first took hold of Christian via synthpop and new-wave, but from there his musical exploration hasn’t stopped. Not one to talk about himself, he will tell you how important it is to travel, and to travel for music. He lives by this doctrine wholeheartedly. He’s journeyed through wormholes into all sorts of musical realms, always curious and always finding splendor. Rather than pinning genre tags on him, it makes more sense to consider the locations he and his van VW Eurovan have frequented; the beating core of the midwest underground “No Way Back”, Florida’s east coast during the reign of the Electric Pickle, numerous underground festivals both for electronic music and live bands. All these sounds end up at home in St. Petersburg where they are distilled under dim red light into something that is surprisingly smooth, yet maintains the complexities of many different locales and subcultures. All this is united by a pervasive chugginess, with moments of bliss and romanticism throughout.
