The International Women’s Day did not begin as a celebration, it began as a movement.

March 8 honors the women who raised their voices for dignity, fair work, and equal opportunity. From early labor movements in NYC to advocates around the world, generations of women helped expand access to education, voting rights, workplace protections, and greater participation in leadership.

Progress has been made, but the work continues. Building a more inclusive and supportive society is an ongoing effort. One that benefits families, communities, and future generations.

Today is also a reminder that everyone can play a role by supporting, mentoring, uplifting, and creating opportunities for the women around us.
