Round Turn is a small distillery located in a 150 year-old textile mill on the coast of Maine. Distilling is simple, just condensing vapor back to liquid.

A Round Turn is the most simple knot, one complete turn of a rope around an object. Despite its simplicity, it is immensely strong and effective, used to hold even great ships against a dock. But its strength relies on a person holding one end of the rope and applying tension, allowing the forces of friction and torque to work. But with a person applying their senses of smell and taste, this simpl

e process can be harnessed to produce something complex and sublime. Located in a 150 year-old textile mill on the Saco River 5 miles from the Maine coast, Round Turn Distilling embodies the pragmatism and industriousness of its New England forebears. While the mill once used the waters of the river to power its massive looms, Round Turn uses steam to power its modern, steel and copper still. The still is itself an embodiment of tradition informed by innovation. Built in Etna, Maine, by Trident Stills, it blends the basic principles of the centuries-old pot-still with modern innovations and efficiencies. After all, tradition was once innovation in its time.

Happy First Week of School! 😬📚
We are thinking of the educators and parents as they endure the new school year 🩵🩷

Saturday, September 12th we will be collecting donations for York County Head Start. Their programs not only provide education for the children, but they also support the parents and families as they navigate the hurdles and challenges that they may face, along with supporting the educators needs. YCCAC provides comprehensive support systems focused on not only the children’s education, but their health, nutrition and well-being. Head Start and Early Head Start are free to qualifying families and are there to assist and support the communities within York County.

On the third slide, you will find a list of things in need for the upcoming school year 🍎✂️✏️

We hope you can make it out to support the wonderful individuals within our community that help provide services that these children and families can utilize. If you’re unable to participate day of, donations will be collected throughout the entire weekend!

Tonight! Biddo Banh’s ✨Peckish Pop-Up✨

To pair with tonight’s food we have the 💚🐘Green Elephant🐘💚 Melon and green tea give a light, tropical and herbal start while it finishes with coconut cream to help cool the palate as you load up on the spice. The 🌴Koh Rong Special🌴 is our savory riff on the drink that made us, the Bimini Special. Celery and Suze are partners in crime 👯‍♀️ carrying this “healthy” drink ... There’s a vegetable in there, don’t worry about it.

On the menu, Sima will have Nataing*, a minced pork dip with rice crackers, Spring Rolls*, with your choice of protein, and Firecracker Shrimp Rolls🦐🦐🦐

Doors open at 4:00, snacking starts at 5:00!

For all you sentimental saps out there, the Red Right Return has … well … returned! 🥰⛵️

A staple for us that has been brought back for years by popular demand. With our OG Bimini Gin, this slow sipper comes off relatively juicy with how well the passion fruit and cranberry play together, to a slightly bitter finish from a healthy pour of angostura bitters.

🌿🥒🍋‍🟩FROZEN GINTONICAS!
Once again, we find ourselves in a soupy hellscape of heat index and humidity. As a distillery that makes gin inspired by gorgeously dry, breezy, coastal summer weather, we kinda have to go full turbo-mode to make up the difference during this atmospheric test of character. The Slushi is up and running and we expect the temp to hit right around 5, just in time for the end of your workweek!🍹
Don’t let the Summer of Flopsweat™️ get you down. We’ve added a dehumidifier to our fleet of portable ACs (central air is for clowns) so the temp in the bar is a perfectly comfortable 70-something. 🙃☀️
Open regular hours all weekend (sorry again about Wednesday!) with Happy Hour all day on Sunday Funday! Come play! ✌️💙🍸🪩

We stan a spritz! 🍹
Our L¡ke & $ubscr¡be (pardon the spelling, IG suppresses posts with that phrase!) is a sunny, sparkly, satisfying tall drink of boozy, fruity fabulousness. Made with Bimini Gin (duh), Aperol (also duh), passion fruit (ooh!), sweet vermouth (chic), prosecco (basic but love it), and splash of soda to lighten the whole thing up (smart!).
It’s been on our menu for a while now so if you still haven’t tried it you are MISSING 👏 OUT 👏
It’s a gorgeous summer weekend so swing by while you’re out and about. ✌️💙🍹🪩
