Agave lovers, the wait is over. We just secured an incredibly limited allocation of the highly anticipated Tequila Fortaleza Reposado Winter Blend (2025 Edition), and it is an absolute masterpiece.

Fortaleza’s annual Winter Blend is the ultimate canvas for tequila innovation, combining their legendary traditional craftsmanship with experimental barrel aging.

Here is what makes the 2025 release so special:
The Rare Wood: This year’s blend bridges traditional agave with sweet European wine casks, featuring portions aged in French oak that previously held Passito di Caluso (an Italian dessert wine) and Madeira wine casks.

The Perfectionist’s Ratio: Master distillers meticulously blended 60% of their classic Reposado with 40% of these specialty wine-cask rested expressions.
The Proof: Bottled at a rich, robust 92 Proof (46% ABV) for a heavier mouthfeel and incredibly deep flavor complexity.

What to expect in the glass:
Think rich, caramelized cooked agave and crème brûlée meeting dark notes of sun-dried figs, raisins, honey, and citrus peel, all rounded out by a warm, lingering baking-spice finish. It drinks beautifully neat.

This bottle is notoriously scarce and highly sought after.
