HAPPY JUNETEENTH!!!!

Today we honor Juneteenth, Black freedom, and the long, unfinished fight to be safe, and seen.

Nokturnal has always been for the people who needed somewhere to put the things the world gave them. The anger. The grief. The weirdness. The softness. The drama. The joy.

Goth is not one look, one race, one body, one background, or one version of darkness.

The dance floor is for anyone who has ever felt like they didn’t fit anywhere else and still showed up anyway.

After enough years in the scene, you learn that goth was never really about being the coolest person in the room.

It was about finding the room.

A place where the music made sense. Where the weird kids became adults and still found each other. Where you could be overdressed, under-socialized, heartbroken, joyful, mysterious, messy, or all of it at once.

Nokturnal is one of those rooms.
