G.A.R.F contemplated the ingredients that would evoke nostalgia for old school amusement parks reminiscent of West View Park and give us a suitably sanguinary offering for fans of George to imbibe. The result of this wild brainstorming session was a strawberry funnel cake sour.

Other Showtimes:
6/13 - 5:00pm, 6:00pm & 7:00pm

About the film:
Filmed in 1975 at the iconic West View Park, The Amusement Park was considered lost until a 16 mm version was uncovered and restored in 2019 in collaboration with IndieCollect. Although not a true horror film, The Amusement Park has been branded by many as George’s most terrifying film.

-Review- “I can't remember the last time a film shook me like this,” recounted Chris Evangelista of Slash Film.

6/11 only - Q&A w/ special Guests:

Ryan Carr - Artist in Residence - Also did the can art for the Abjuration Beer Release.

Ryan Carr is an accomplished illustrator, comic book artist, muralist, and art instructor having exhibited his artwork nationwide. Holding a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, his artistic focus in horror has led to him becoming the Artist-in-Residence for the George A. Romero Foundation, contributing to the legacy of one of the most influential figures in horror cinema. His illustrations can also be seen in the upcoming graphic novel adaptation of George Romero’s The Amusement Park. Ryan currently resides in Ventura, California.

Jeff Whitehead Chief Operating Officer By day, Jeff works in higher education. By night, he is an avid horror screenwriter. Jeff has fond memories of childhood sleepovers with classic horror movies, role-playing games (RPGs), comic books, and junk food. George's work always featured prominently, and almost every overnight party screened Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, or Day of the Dead. Jeff is honored to give back to the legacy by assisting with the website and operations for the George A. Romero Foundation. In doing so, Jeff hopes to help George and his work have an impact for a long time to come.

Over Your Dead Body
What starts as a romantic getaway quickly turns into a deadly game where both are secretly planning to kill each other, blending dark comedy with tension, mind games, and unpredictable twists, which is exactly why this is already getting attention as one of the most chaotic relationship thrillers to watch.

Jason Segel and Samara Weaving Are Out to Kill Each Other in this Mad Thriller.
Jorma Taccona's comedy of mayhem is a gonzo "Scenes from a Marriage" meets the Coen brothers meets the "Evil Dead" films. In other words...fun!
Trailer: https://youtu.be/sP3Iteje6uA?si=JiB96ZuABAueAho8
When miserable couple Dan and Lisa retreat to a remote cabin for a romantic reset, each arrives with a secret plan to kill the other. However, their carefully plotted traps and counterplots quickly unravel when strangers crash the weekend with plans of their own. As the toxic getaway spirals into chaotic carnage, Dan and Lisa must soon figure out if they want to save their marriage or survive it.
