JAMS, 1380 Williamson Street, Madison, WI (2026)

09/17/2026

The JAMS crystal ball is showing a long night of dancing in
your future !! 🔮

We’re ecstatic to invite Chicago’s Justin Aulis Long for our October outing - as an OG Smartbar stalwart and sonic sorcerer his presence promises an evening of rave-based ritual and psychedelic portal exploration. Known for opening communal thresholds to other realms during dance gatherings, Long is a musical poet and alchemist well-versed in generating and controlling vibrant collective energy fields using sacred objects (records) and equipment (turntables and mixers) to unite bodies and spirits into unity and harmony. His sets have a noted tendency of unraveling time and space constructs and disintegrates foundational structures of status quo simply though the power of his sigils and ritualistically charged musical selections - we can’t wait to be transformed together with you 🌀

Justin continues his packed run of parties and festival sets
this year on top of an unfathomably rich career of performances and curation. His latest platform, the Smartbar party series “Flowers of Romance”, fuses experimental acid, heavy industrial techno, and custom art installations for an effect best described as cross pollinated magic ✨

On warm up duties we are so stoked for an extended opening set from rising DJ icon Moorhaus and JAMS leader AZZA. Moorhaus is no stranger to the sonic wormhole and his patient approach to selection, wide ranging tastes, and ability to connect forgotten and unexplored corners of dance music make him an omnipresent force behind the decks all over the Midwest and beyond. Coupled B2B with AZZA’s omnivorous crate digging and metaphysical appreciation of the rhythmic,
hypnotic, spiritual powers of the dancefloor, this is sure to be a transfiguring party of rave-y rapture! 💫

We’re also excited to share that the portal will open an hour early for your sonic satisfaction starting at 8pm!

21+, $10 at the door, bring a new friend to spread the
signal and charge the sigils! ♥️

Thanks to maddi rae hammer for always catching the vibe

Unbelievably special night with Zora Murphy open to close for the second JAMS x Dreaming of a Disco collab party!

Zora entranced the entire venue from the first spin of the disco ball to last call with buttery blends and soulful selections ✨🐚

5+ hours truly felt like 5 minutes the way cut after cut of delicious dance music poured over the speakers and onto our dancers - a sea of smiling faces and a whole lot of ass shaking 🔥

We appreciate everyone who made it out to share such a special evening, and all of our friends and collaborators and the The Cardinal Bar who help us throw great parties- we love you and we’ll see you back for our next parties on October 3rd (JAMS) and October 9th (Disco) ♥️♥️

Strap on those dancing shoes for our second JAMS x dreamingofadisco collaboration party at The Cardinal Bar !!

School is back in session and we’re incredibly excited for a masterclass from Chicago’s Zora Murphy over a special open to close DJ set on Friday 9/11!! Both JAMS and Dreaming have waited to find the right DJ to take us on an open to close journey and we’re certain we picked the right selector for the task!

CTRLZORA is an in-demand DJ, promoter, producer, radio host, and activist who uses music and art as somatic and spiritual healing for the floor and beyond. In their mixes and events, Zora spins up classic and future classic house, techno, and disco alongside Afro-diasporic rhythms and jazz-laced experimentation for a sound that is equal parts raw, soulful, and danceable.

With past mentorship from the architects of midwest dance music and curation of worldclass jockeys for their party and mix series, the Cowrie, Zora’s tastes bridge the ancestral pulse of yesterday to the cutting edge music of today. We can’t wait to hear what she spins up over 5+ hours this coming September 11th 🙂

You already know the drill: 21+, $10 at the door, come early, stay late, and bring a friend for this all night dancing extravaganza!

June JAMS is around the corner and it’s time to shake your
tail feather with friends!! 🪶

We can’t wait to shuffle, slide, and shimmy on the floor
with you to the sounds of 3 fabulous DJs for our next edition! 🤗

Please give a warm welcome to our headliner : a West Side Chicago native and house music devotee who has built a rabid following since exploding onto the scene in 2021. He found his true passion and obsession with house music after helping digitize Frankie Knuckles’ 5,000+ record collection and carries that reverence into every set: deep, jackin’, spiritual sounds that are always for the floor. Listening back to the insane energy from his Queen! debut, we know we’re in for a delightful dance 🤩

On opening duties we welcome a special pair of friends who will kick us off proper: and our beloved resident Home Team. DJ Got Worms is a true creature of the underground. As co-founder of the Cultivate party series, he curates and nurtures the raw, gritty, experimental and boundary-pushing sounds from central WI and beyond 🛸

needs little introduction in Madison but as his House/Garage productions continue to blow up (releases on Rhythm Vibe, Cheap Talk, The Pool House, Aterral, Tied, SnackTime and Plastik People Recordings) and big opening slots continue (Paul Johnson, Michael Serafini, Garrett David, Fortune, Justin Long, Flava D, Adam Port, Jevon Jackson, + many more) we love to brag about him here! ❤️‍🔥

Shouting out to our larger crew of regular support here

It’s people like us that make these nights so special ✨

Gathering on the mirrored dancefloor, under the full moon, in the incense, it’s heavenly 💫

Thanks for coming out and sharing your joy 🩷

Thanks to all the talented people who come together to make these nights shine 🔥

and .language.processing fired up up the floor with emotional heaters ❤️‍🔥

frenzied the crowd all night with unrelenting energy and absolute finesse. An impromptu boiler room booth broke out to surround the queen herself who packed the floor to the bitter close 🐝

Huge thanks as always to the brilliant staff at and our friends at for the ever evolving sound support 🔊

Special thanks to for capturing some of the mood in the room 📸

Extra special thanks to you for making JAMS, JAMS 🫶

Limber up those limbs: the sun is out and it’s time to JAM!! 🌞

For our May installment we’re elated to welcome a rapidly rising star in Chicago’s club circuit ! Making a name in a busy city of dance music is no easy task but her deep reverence for club culture and cunty bravado has caught the attention of dancefloors, listeners, and parties around the Midwest and we had to have her our for a dance! 👠

Expect a feral, genre-blending set of tribal and tech-y house and rave energies and keep an eye and ear out as she continues a sensational rise as club technician and dancefloor curator ✨

On opening duties we have a special sendoff set from JAMS co-founder (making his westward journey this summer) and our original partyboy architect .language.processing ! This warm up set is guaranteed to be as silly as it is sentimental and we can’t wait to see what sizzling surprises the boys have in store for the floor. Come early and stay late! 🪩

With another gorgeous flyer from , bumping beefed-up system support from , and mama Gaia blossoming more beautifully each day we’ve set for another amazing eve of dancing: we’ll SYOTF! 🌍

Saturday 5/2 @ 9pm

On warm up duties we have some special programming - a vinyl warmup from the budding talent of to start the night followed by a massive b2b from JAMS’ very own residents .mp3 and Kitty Spit.
