Off Color Brewing’s Beer for Ballgames is back and ready for summer innings, backyard radios, and yelling at questionable strike calls.

Brewed as a true American cream ale, this 4.2% crusher is made with American malt, American corn, classic Cascade + Willamette hops, and yes… even American water (sorry, Fiji). Eight years is a long time.

Long enough to become part of the furniture around here (in the best way possible). Long enough that for a lot of you, Erin /is/ The Open Bottle.

For nearly eight years, Erin has been behind the bar, behind the scenes, and somehow always one step ahead of whatever chaos the day decided to throw at us. She’s poured thousands of beers, unpacked countless deliveries, cleaned up more exploding cans than any one person should ever have to (aforementioned chaos), made recommendations that never missed, hidden Jerry and George on more unsuspecting staff than anyone else, and probably knows your usual before you even say it.

She’s also the kind of person who quietly makes a place better just by being in it.

Today is Erin’s last day at The Open Bottle. And while we’re excited for what’s next for her, this one’s a tough goodbye.

If Erin ever served you a beer, gave you a recommendation, helped you find something special, or made your visit better in any way, drop your favorite Erin memory in the comments ❤️ We’d love for her to see just how many people she’s impacted over the years.
