Monday, May 25th - 8 AM - Historical Lee's Summit Cemetery - Join VFW Post 5789 and friends as we begin Memorial Day in commemorating and celebrating with a service honoring those who served of our country.

Join us after the Memorial event for breakfast at the post! Everyone is welcome!

Mission Accomplished: VFW Day of Service Success! 🇺🇸🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who joined Post 5789 and the Auxiliary yesterday for our Day of Service!

It was an incredible day of community and hard work. Together, we were able to assist Lees Summit Parks and Recreation with getting Legacy Park spruced up for the summer and our annual cleanup around Lees Summit Cemetery. Once again, Veterans and their families are always ready to serve.

Don't forget. VFW Day of Service tomorrow morning. Meet at the Post at 8am. We will dispatch teams for two projects, cleaning up the Lee's Summit Historical Cemetery and sprucing up the Legacy Park Amphitheater.

This is not a members only effort. We encourage any and all of our patrons and community partners to join us!!
