Come jam at "The V" with the Bluzboyz Thursday Night Jam Thursday night from 7-10. Musicians will be filling our large hall with your favorite jazz and rock tunes. Plenty of room for listening and "cutting a rug" on the dance floor.
The post lounge is open to the public daily and is serving your favorite beverages at the best prices around. Check out the daily drink specials. The kitchen is open with great dinner specials for the jam.

Freon Cool in concert - Jun 27th - 7:00 - VFW Post 5789
Freon Cool is a band consisting of 3 lifelong musicians who have been playing around the KC area for well over 25 years. While their roots are in progressive rock, during the dark days of Covid we took a step back and imagined a simpler sound. They stripped things down and went acoustic. This has really allowed them to showcase vocals and musicianship in a whole new way. No more hiding behind guitar effects and vocal delay. Since that time Freon Cool has been focused on presenting acoustic interpretations of a variety of rock cover music. This approach breathes new life into familiar songs resulting in a fresh and unique listening experience. These songs blended with their own inspired creations allow them to take the listener on an enjoyable and diverse musical journey. They still venture into the studio to work out prog frustrations from time to time, but when they play live these days it tends to be as a softer version of themselves.

We're gearing up for a new week and new specials! Come join us for the start of our new Wing Wednesdays on 6/24! Get $1.00 wings with a 5 count minimum and maximum of two sauces. Definitely a good way to boost your mid-week blues. The Jack Ray Post 5789 VFW will be offering $15.00 beer buckets as well. Hoping to see you all out with us!
