The oldest bar in Lansing, obtaining a liquor license after the end of Prohibition in 1933. A history of welcoming all who are willing to welcome others, like it’s prior owner, is happily continued. The pictures Bar back is unique with a stained glass inlay of Merlin the Magician flanked by three large Griffins made of hand-carved Haitian mahogany. It was originally in California and bought and
re-assembled here by Rudy Stober years ago. Our job is to provide low prices, a friendly atmosphere, and get out of the way. Live music on Tuesdays and Sundays , and the best maintained shuffleboard tables. We receive many compliments on our classic jukebox, free during the day. We have just enough high definition big screens to avoid being a "sports bar", but enough to enjoy all of your important events.
