THE DINNER TRAIN MENU HAS ARRIVED: An evening aboard our annual Dinner Train fundraiser is unlike anything else at the National Railroad Museum. A rare chance to dine in your choice of our historic rail cars as the sun sets, with a five-course menu crafted exclusively for the occasion by Iron Duck Restaurant.

This week’s inspiration: the Aviation Cocktail

Our Take:
- Sweet Gwendolyn Gin
- Maraschino Liqueur
- Lemon Juice
- Plum Cheong
- Saline

Created in the early 20th century by bartender Hugo Ensslin, the Aviation is a classic cocktail with a modern resurgence. Named for the early fascination of aviation and flight, the cocktail traditionally has a light violet/sky blue color. Our take swaps the iconic crème de violet for our house Plum Cheong syrup. Changing the color of this cocktail to the pink-ish hue of early dawn or sunset.
