๐บ๐ธ We love, love, LOVE the First Amendment. ๐บ๐ธ
Just like how people online who love, love, LOVE leaving reviews and ratings seem to forget that businesses have rights, too.
โโโโโโโโ-
Hereโs the thing: when someone gets that coffee-fueled, morning-after boldness and decides to leave usโor any businessโa poor, ill-conceived review, we recognize your right to do so.
This is America. Iโm sure you pay some taxes to help fund those inalienable rights.
But youโd better be ready to get that same First Amendment energy right back.
Just because youโre hiding behind a screen doesnโt mean a business has to cower, grovel, or feel obligated to kneel at your feet.

Time and time again, businesses learn the same lesson:
๐ฑ The customer is not always right. ***insert silent gasp***
And the customers who know how to communicate, show respect, and treat a business like actual human beings?
๐ธThose are the customers businesses *want* to keep.๐ธ

So when you threaten a business with, โItโs the businessโs loss,โ understand something:
Sometimes, it actually is a win for the business.
Not all money is welcome anymore.
Especially when that money comes attached to bad energy, unnecessary drama, and the kind of karma that costs far more than the sale was ever worth.

And remember: businesses can see your other reviews.
They can see the patterns. They can see exactly how you choose to conduct yourself when you donโt get your way.
So the next time you decide to leave a review, maybe tighten that tin-foil hat a little more securely and ask yourself:
โAm I actually reviewing the businessโor am I telling the internet who I am?โ

And before anybody gets their keyboards warmed up and their thumbs thunderinโ:
Donโt bother leaving comments or sending a DM.

If you feel that itch though, you risk leaving a trail of evidence that would make people think youโre one of *those* or tolerate the bad behavior.
If youโre offended, collect your tears in a tin-foil cup, too, and save the salt for your next bland chicken dish.
