The Geneva BID, The City of Geneva, Keep America Beautiful and TerraCycle are teaming up to install a dozen cigarette receptacles on our downtown streets. With a generous grant from Keep America Beautiful, this Geneva BID-run program will be sure to leave us with a cleaner city.

Thanks to The City of Geneva with their help installing the receptacles on signposts in high-traffic areas. The BID Maintenance Crew will periodically empty these and send the butts to TerraCycle, a local company that processes hard-to-recycle items, turning the plastic in ci******es into park benches, zip ties and pocketbooks!
