Before you all get busy with Holidays, don’t forget to sign up for our dance class through the Enrichment College. Registration is open for JANUARY classes.

SOCIAL DANCING FOR ANY VENUE IN THE VILLAGES, is taught by pro dancers, Mark and Susan O’Brien.
This time we will be focusing on BEGINNER Rumba, Foxtrot and Waltz. It’s a more concentrated class to help beginners feel confident as they develop a good base for each dance. We make it fun and easy. We are NOT studio dancers, and do not teach the same patterns you see everywhere else. Our expertise comes from experience from professional theater companies and degrees with dance concentration and education.

We set you on your way and encourage you to eventually add on as your own choreographer. We give you the tools. After all, you and your partner are unique. We all learn differently and we are all shapes, sizes, some have disabilities or age issues. Our goal is to make YOU AND YOUR PARTNER, shine on the floor!

SO LET THIS BE YOUR YEAR. Before you know it, you’ll be joining us on our performance/ teaching cruises.

Let’s get away from the politics for a bit and talk about the joyful art of dance.

Anyone can say they are a professional dancer if they took lessons at a studio and then started teaching on their own. But true professionals have actually studied dance, have degrees in dance, perform for real theaters and other venues. They have been a part of a company. They have degrees In education. They have years of experience as a teacher, choreographer, and have performed all over the world.

These are the instructors you want. They can adapt to physical issues, aging, and dance phobia. There is nothing to fear. Their method is unique. And it works!
January begins the next session for classes through the enrichment college. Call them for details as to when and how you can register. We already have waiting lists from our fall sessions so don’t wait too long. Partners only and all must be masked. We are the originators of the SOCIAL DANCING FOR THE SQUARES CLASS. If you are having trouble registering on line, you can call them and do it over the phone. We make it fun and easy. We will never churn out carbon copies of studio type dancers, who look the same with little technique. Instead you will find YOUR style as we help you find steps that work for you! Thank you patient followers and dancers. Mark and Susan Obrien are planning the fall social dance classes through the enrichment college for October. Keep in mind that YOUR SAFETY AND OURS are the priority and we will only proceed if we can ensure a safe environment.
We are the creators of Social dancing for the squares and Aquaballroom. There are many imitators but you will not find more seasoned, educated, knowledgeable professional instructors who know how to help you create YOUR STYLE, not the cattle call studio type method. Part of being a good dancer is learning how to become a choreographer so you don’t look like a carbon copy of every studio dancer.

Our steps and music will have you looking polished and confident at ANY Village Venue. We deliberately limit our classes so we can concentrate on not only teaching you steps but also working on technique.
So, call the enrichment college and get started. The schedule for our two beginner classes is posted. Thanks again for your continued support!
