We couldn’t find your donkey drawing, friend, but we tried to ease the pain a little 🥺

We lost our dear friend and regular Jesus two weeks ago. Most days he could be spotted on his laptop in his favorite spot by the chalkboard.

We feel his absence deeply.

That spot will always be his and we will always raise a glass in his honor. Please do the same when you’re here ❤️

Long before it was Vesper Lounge, this neighborhood favorite was known as the Lancer Lounge. When we took over, we wanted to honor its legacy—not erase it. We restored what mattered, kept the original kitchen, refreshed the space, and even changed just a few letters of the name.
If you’ve ever noticed the “NO ANGER” sign, there’s a story behind it, too. It’s made from letters from the original Lancer Lounge sign—a reminder that this has always been a place to leave the stress at the door, share a drink, laugh a little louder, and enjoy good company.
Some history is worth preserving. ❤️🍸
