Fire, tradition, and community. Two weeks away.
On June 14, we gather on the patio for Barrio BBQ: Fuegos y Amigos, an afternoon celebrating the traditions, ingredients, and regional flavors that continue to shape Mexican cuisine.
Taking place during James Beard Awards weekend, this walk-around tasting experience brings together chefs and restaurants from across Chicago for an afternoon of live-fire cooking, regional Mexican flavors, and a shared celebration of community through food.
Expect food cooked over open flames, seasonal ingredients, refreshing beverages, and music throughout the afternoon.
