Shimmer: an evening devoted to shoegaze/dreampop with DJs Scary Lady Sarah & Philly Peroxide. Started as an annual event in 2005 and as a monthly party in 2010. We are currently securing a new awesome host venue- keep an eye here for the announcement- and will do live stream versions of Shimmer on Twitch sporadically. We post our playlists so you can get an idea of what you'll hear. We love and re

spect the "classic" shoegaze bands but are super into playing a lot of current releases, too! If you love the 'gaze, you'll love Shimmer!
