Mister Joshooa

When it comes to the Detroit music scene , Mister Joshooa is dug in deeper than an Alabama tick. If you want him out of the game you’ll have to scrape him off the floor with a god damn spatula. For the past 20+ years, Mister has played the seediest of underground s**t hole parties to the upper echelon of proper established venues across the globe; pushing an ass load of wax to countless bar flies, liquor goblins and dance floor enthusiasts alike. And in all that time you’d think he woulda learned something. Mister J is no slouch when it comes to production either. Releasing on labels such as Planet E, Life and Death and 20:20 Vision plus a host of heady boutique labels like Party Store Records and Infolines. He’s even had a couple labels of its own, including a secret label (ooohwow). Mister Joshooa has been bestowed with the great honor of playing his home town festival, Movement, more than a few times and if you ask him, there is no place He’d rather be than Hart Plaza in the end of May, soaking it up with his soul mates (or at home with his cats) Oh yeah, He also was General Manager and Music Director of Detroit’s famed TV lounge from its inception in 2007 to its graceful (lol) exit in 2023. Other than that, He’s just a regular human person trying It’s best to keep his person suit on and collect as many records as possible before the permanent dirt nap ensues. It’s that time of year again, the annual pilgrimage to Detroit. The birthplace of Techno! Wrapping up April with our Official Movement Pre-Party and making their Re:Set debut is one of Detroit’s finest, Mister Joshooa! On warmup a Detroit OG Hazel Eyez aka Punisher takes on a new alias with brand new music going b2b with resident Joe Tagessian. Let’s dance :)

Each year on Memorial Day weekend, thousands of people from across the globe gather in the birthplace of Techno to celebrate the heritage of Detroit and its musical influence over countless generations, new and old. Movement Music Festival is one of the longest-running dance music events in the world, committed to showcasing authentic music and providing an experience unlike any other. The boys are back in town! Small Moves takeover at Re:Set with one of our favorite vinyl slinging duos straight out of Tbilisi, Georgia. These guys are no strangers to our booth so expect a proper session from open to close.

Ika & Usherenko, a DJ and producer duo, have made significant contributions to the underground music scene in Tbilisi. As co-founders of the Small Moves label and record shop, which has been running for 5 years, they have played a pivotal role in shaping the local scene. With a low social media profile, they let their music do the talking, boasting extensive experience performing across Europe, South America, North America, and the Caucasus region. Their musical style is characterized by a commitment to a distinct sound rather than adherence to a specific genre, enabling them to adapt to any situation or dance floor. Drawing inspiration from the progressive sound of the early 2000s, they have played at renowned venues such as Resolute, Public Records, Mtkvarze, Bassiani, Gewoelbe, Closer, Fabric, Club Der Visionaere, Tresor, Les Enfants Brilliants, Radio Pirate, Oven Club.

Recently, Ika & Usherenko were featured in Trommel’s Top 10 DJs to See in 2025, a recognition that highlights their growing influence in the underground scene. Through their contributions to the Small Moves label and record shop, along with their dedication to their craft, they have solidified their place as standout figures in the underground music world.
