I am both happy and sad to announce that I (Carlos S) will be officially and permanently stepping down from my position as owner/promoter of RISQUE.

Over the last 6 years of RISQUE I have been able to grow and learn from the responsibilities of hosting such a night, as well as from each one of you. I have met many wonderful people, and fortunately not so many not wonderful :) I have hosted many amazing nights with live music and have worked with all of our Dj s here in Boston. To them as well as staff members that directly worked for me or indirectly, THANK YOU, for helping RISQUE become what it did. I as well as many of you have many great memories of RISQUE, specially at AnTuaNua where the vibe was just at a different level.
It's always a pleasure and complete satisfaction when someone approaches me and shares their thoughts , feelings, and memories of RISQUE.

Over the last few months I have partnered up with Rob Suave at RYLES. Rob has always worked diligently and professionally to provide all of us with an amazing scene. His thoughtful style of leadership have also helped our scene become more of a big, happy family than anything else.
I urge you all to support him in growing RISQUE to its potential. I now hand down all responsibilities and ownership to him. I am confident that Rob will do his best to keep RISQUE alive. I look forward to seeing where he takes RISQUE in the years to come. Thank you Rob for taking on this challenge!

Although I am sad to leave my creation, I am SUPER excited for the new adventures and goals that await me.

Please join me next WEDNESDAY (1/20/16) as I celebrate my time at RISQUE !
