Today is a difficult announcement for us to share. After many years in downtown Boston, French Quarter will be closing its doors.

We know this may come as surprising news to many of you, and it is hard to put into words what this place has meant to us. French Quarter has been more than a restaurant. It has been a place for birthdays, first dates, theatre nights, after-work drinks, anniversaries, girls’ nights, family dinners, and ordinary evenings that became part of people’s lives.

Before we say goodbye, we would love to see you one more time. Our last day open will be Saturday August 29th.

Come in for a final dinner, one last drink at the bar, the dish you always ordered, or simply one more evening with us in a place that has meant so much.

Thank you for giving French Quarter its life.
