Last night, I had the opportunity to do something different, a storytelling event with a where the audience could ask questions after each story. Storytelling inherently connects people, but the depth of connection last night was on another level.
The audience truly got to know the storyteller, and in a way, the storyteller got to know the audience. This format allowed everyone to go deeper into the mindset, the insights, and the moments that often don't make the final cut of a story.
A huge thank you to Jihad El-Amin and his wonderful family for putting on such an amazing and meaningful event.

Tales and Ale Live Storytelling Last night felt like Augusta at its best, a room full of truth‑tellers, artists, and brave souls willing to show up and make something real together. Michelle Adams, Judge Wood , and Mickey Lay , thank you for your stories, your honesty, and the way you opened the night. You set the tone with courage and heart. Doug James, thank you for the soundtrack that carried the evening. You gave the room its pulse. And Billy S Sanders… the incomparable. Thank you for painting the night the way only you can, turning the stage into a living, breathing piece of art. Maddy Gott , thank you for the home. For the space. For the welcome. For holding the room so the rest of us could fill it. And to everyone who took part, on stage, off stage, behind the scenes, in the audience, thank you for leaning in, for showing up, for making the night feel alive.Tales & Ale keeps growing because of nights like this.
Because of people like you.
Because of stories told with honesty and rooms that hold them with love. Until next time.
