the vision of Daydream was singular though the work was not. it was with the help of experts and countless hours spent that a forgotten, lifeless concrete basement was transformed into a memorable new world.
our friends at formative architecture were the incredible partners who put pen to paper to draw out the Daydream plans, giving direction and momentum to the project.
danny was the general contractor, responsible for framing. forming the bar’s proverbial bones.
Daydream’s brand identity, interior design and layout was the work of Daydream and Fox MFG founder isaac.
with the help and talent of his artistic, carpenter friends, james + josh v., plus wise, wood-working advice from his father, “Papa Fox”, the three handled all of the finish work. most notably, the wood-work. they cut, installed, sanded + sealed for months to create the mahogany-laden escape. the crew was a creative force. working in rhythmic tandem. leaving saw-dusted trails at the end of each long day. to say, “building Daydream was a labor of love” is an understatement.
