Hello, Its me…Dan.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support of Indigo Room, Charlie and myself. I thank you for the love shared with me over the last few months as I took time to find peace and heal emotionally. After losing Charlie I haven’t reopened Indigo Room and I have made the decision to close the bar permanently. Our friends Jaz and Alex will be taking on the lease and launching in August, I wish them all the best and I am pleased to see the space continuing to be used for hospitality.

For me it is time to say goodbye to hospitality, it has been an adventure from our little cafe
‘Aika’ to Indigo Room and I thank-you for joining us on that journey. I will retain the name Indigo Room for my own online Vintage and Antique venture which will be another passion project for me that I will launch soon.

It is heartbreaking to share the loss of my beloved Charlie. He was my constant companion.

Charlie’s cremation has taken place on Thursday 17th April, privately, with loving family present.

I will be hosting a Wake for Charlie on April 25th, 6pm - 10pm, at the Indigo Room 26 Moray place, to celebrate his beauty, his life and his love. A time to share wine and food and love for him and for each other.

Everyone who knew and was touched by Charlie is welcome to come and spend this time with me and my family.
