Regarding eligible countries, registration date and other important information for the DV Lottery 2027 🇺🇸, just wait for official instructions from the State Department 🇺🇸.

They will be communicated soon 😃.

That's when you'll know whether your country is eligible or not, along with all the important details.

Know that the DV Lottery 2027 will take place well 😀.

Even though we are approaching September 30, it simply corresponds to the end of the current fiscal year (VAT 2026), during which interviews and visas are completed for those already selected 😃🇺🇸.

Some people 👤 say that enrollment will only take place in October this year (which means there will be no DV 2027).

But be careful 😃:
Registrations are usually done in October, this is true.

However, with the delay of the current launch for DV 2027, everything must be organized by October 1st (registrations and verification of results 🇺🇸).

If registrations will only take place in October, it would mean that there will be no DV Lottery 2027, and that the fiscal year planned for issuing 🇺🇸 visas (from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027) would not exist 🌍🇺🇸.

Well, this is not possible 😄, unless in an exceptional case.

By the way, this has never happened since the DV Lottery began in 1995.

Even during COVID-19 (DV 2020) period, there was disruption, but the program was not cancelled 😃.

To understand clearly:

👉 The fiscal year of the DV Lottery 2027 goes from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027, even though registrations have not yet started.

But they will soon be 😃.

Finally, for the DV Lottery 2028, whose registrations should take place in October this year, its fiscal year will go from October 1, 2027 to September 30, 2028.
It's still a bit far 😄😃.

👉 So, no way to skip the DV Lottery 2027 😄.

And concerning paying the $1 fee:

It's that simple 😃.

If you don't have a bank account, don't panic:

a person 👤 who has a bank card can register several candidates to the DV Lottery 🇺🇸.

👉 But beware: this may change according to official instructions 🇺🇸.

For example, they can decide that a debit card is only used for a single registration 📱.

In that case, everyone will have to have their own bank card 😃.

👉However, there is a very low chance of this happening.

For now, only one card can be used to enroll multiple people, so no worries 😃.

This is also why we are waiting for official instructions to confirm all this 😀.

I hope I answered all of your questions in the comments 😃.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS

Travel.

1️⃣ Presidential Proclamation 10949

June 9, 2025

2️⃣ Presidential Proclamation 10998

January 1, 2026 (12:01 a.m. EST)

🔴 Diversity Visa (DV) Program

(Proclamation 10949)

Travel.State.gov

(Proclamation 10998)

a) DV interview schedule

🔴 DV Program
➡️ Federal Immigration Law change

Travel.State.gov

✔️ Green Card (Permanent Resident)

(Very Clear)

✔️ DV Program
✔️ Official source
